At frame design. Obviously this isn't anywhere near a working fully done frame, but more of a proof of design capabilities with the software.

I'm liking it, actually.

R1 powered street-legal prototype like vehicle. Think DSR car but street legal and R1 powered, or possibly GSX-R1000 powered. Depends on what I come across and find the best deal on.

Yahoo. I want to build essentially an off-road kart, but being in the sign industry I'm hankering to do it in aluminum and epoxy instead of tube frame.

Lol! Well yeah that makes things more difficult and expensive. I do have access to industrial equipment (CNC's, turning, laser cutting, etc).

I plan to make my own spindles, suspension arms, everything. It will take a super long time, but hopefully be worth it in the end. If everything proves out to work well after putting enough miles on it and working out any issues, I may end up opening up the designs to people if they want to make one.

Not sure on that though, especially with that whole liability thing.

What software?? I did an Ariel Atom frame in solidworks using the weldment module and it was super easy to do.

This is Autodesk Fusion 360. It's pretty sweet and free if you are a start-up or hobbyist.
